Staff/Tech Lead Software Engineer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship with a key US-based partner contributing to OpenCTI.
• Guide partner engineers through architecture, coding standards, design refinement, and best practices.
• Review external contributions for quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and integration into the core codebase.
• Align partner work with hirify.global's roadmap, architecture, standards, task sizing, and milestone scope.
• Coach internal and partner-side engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and structured feedback.
• Report progress, risks, blockers, and technical alignment issues to the Director of Engineering and Product Manager.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of reliable, iterative delivery.
• Strong TypeScript experience and hands-on experience with NodeJS, React, GraphQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Strong hands-on experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLM-based agents to improve software development.
• Ability to make pragmatic architectural proposals, manage trade-offs, and align stakeholders.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills for influencing an external partner without formal authority.
• Autonomous, proactive, self-directed working style with strong reporting and alerting habits.
• Comfort working fully remotely and asynchronously with colleagues across multiple time zones.

• Cybersecurity or Cyber Threat Intelligence experience.
• Experience working with external stakeholders, partners, or vendors.
• Experience contributing to, maintaining, or leading open-source projects.
