Senior Informatica Data Engineer (Cloud Migration & Data Integration): Migrating legacy PowerCenter workloads to Informatica cloud platforms and building reliable, high-volume ETL/ELT workflows with an accent on data integrity, security, and performance. Focus on optimizing complex data pipelines, troubleshooting production incidents, and implementing scalable data governance and modernization solutions.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to two remote days per week

is hiring for a client in the banking and financial services industry focused on modernizing enterprise data architectures and workflows.
What you will do
- Lead the assessment and execution of PowerCenter-to-IDMC migration plans.
- Design, develop, and optimize cloud integration workflows with Informatica Cloud Data Integration.
- Create, test, and maintain complex ETL/ELT mappings, sessions, and workflows for high-volume data processing.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot production incidents through root-cause analysis.
- Implement mitigation strategies and contribute to high availability, data security, quality, and lifecycle management.
- Support data architecture modernization through automation and innovative integration solutions.
Requirements
- More than 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or ETL development.
- Deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration, and migrations between them.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Experience designing scalable data workflows and optimizing performance.
- Fluent English is required.
- Legal right to work in the European Union is required.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC and migration tools.
- Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality and data masking strategies.
- Scripting experience with Python or Shell.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud or Agile environments.
