Analyst / Senior Analyst, Development Services (Purification)

Location: Fully site-based in Tuas, Singapore

What you will do

• Conduct downstream purification activities, including chromatography, filtration, viral clearance studies, and process evaluation experiments.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and process materials for laboratory studies.
• Execute studies, sampling, testing, and data collection according to approved procedures and protocols.
• Support technology transfer, process optimization, and characterization studies.
• Operate purification equipment and troubleshoot experimental or equipment-related issues with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Maintain high Right First Time performance while supporting laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Degree or PhD in Life Sciences or a related field, with relevant industry experience.
• Good understanding of protein purification and downstream processing principles.
• Experience with chromatography techniques; experience operating ÄKTA systems and Unicorn software is advantageous.
• Familiarity with filtration technologies such as TFF and UFDF is advantageous.
• Understanding of laboratory safety, quality systems, cGMP requirements, and data integrity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
