Payment Operations Lead (Crypto Payments)

Location: Remote — work from anywhere in the world. The position is 100% remote; hirify.global is headquartered in Gibraltar.

What you will do

• Organize the Payments team workload and ensure smooth end-to-end payment execution within agreed SLAs.
• Supervise, motivate, and support Payments Analysts while representing the Payments team in cross-functional strategic groups.
• Manage operational relationships with banking and financial services partners, including investigations, information exchange, forms, and banking portal access.
• Develop, maintain, improve, and implement payment policies, processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor transactional and operating metrics, investigate exceptions, resolve issues, and report performance to management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, auditors, and technical teams to identify and resolve operational, informational, and system issues.

Requirements

• Relevant operations experience in banking, fintech, payments, or another finance-related institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of correspondent banking, cross-border and local payment systems, and crypto payments.
• Experience with domestic or cross-border payment processes; crypto payment execution experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and advanced Excel or database skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams, prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and operate in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Finastra, core banking platforms, Excel, G-Suite, Slack, or Zoom.
