Software Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite role with domestic and international travel to hirify.global sites and customer sites as needed

What you will do

• Develop software using object-oriented programming languages on Windows or Linux.
• Contribute across the full software project lifecycle, from requirements definition and design through development, deployment, and customer support.
• Deliver software solutions for metrology, inspection, and data analytics products.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and support software deployments at hirify.global and customer sites.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronics, physics, automation, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience: 8 years with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a doctorate.
• Experience with one or more of C/C++, C#, Java, PHP, Python, LabView, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreaded programming, object-oriented analysis and design, and software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and software debugging abilities.
• Fluent English, good communication, teamwork, dedication, and a strong work ethic.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking, database management, architecture, design patterns, automated unit testing, and software development processes.
