Staff Pharmacist

Location: Onsite at 6087 US Highway 6, Portage, Indiana, United States

Salary: $98,000–$172,000 annual base range for a 40-hour workweek, prorated for other schedules, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide pharmaceutical care and accurately process and dispense prescription orders.
• Counsel customers on healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart pharmacy programs.
• Follow company policies, procedures, HIPAA, PHI, and applicable regulations.
• Model effective customer service and guide pharmacy staff.
• Engage with the local community through outreach and health-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent FPGE through NABP.
• Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and pharmacy best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and partners and address varied patient needs.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
