is an agency under Singapore's Ministry of Defence building digital products for organizational effectiveness and workforce productivity.
What you will do
- Design and build full-stack, cloud-native enterprise applications using AI coding tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop reliable APIs and integrations with enterprise systems of record and other business applications.
- Build secure, robust pipelines to ingest, transform, move, and synchronize corporate data across disparate networks.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and application observability through logging, metrics, and monitoring.
- Produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews and sprint cycles, engage with users, and resolve product issues.
- Share engineering practices through internal technical blogs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Degree or background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with modern web development using Spring Boot, React, and Python.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MSSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Familiarity with search engines such as Elasticsearch and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to work comfortably in a small, fast-moving team.
- Singapore Citizenship is required; the role is on-site in Singapore.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating LLM and agentic AI capabilities.
- Technical expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, data pipelines, ETL, and data synchronization across networks.
- At least three years of software engineering experience may qualify candidates for senior positions.
