AI Engineer + Knowledge Graph/Ontology (AI)

hirify.global is building a governed, no-code/low-code enterprise AI platform and a flagship product powered by it.

What you will do

• Architect how prompts, retrieval, agent logic, inference, and workflow orchestration integrate with the platform.
• Define and evolve the canonical data model for business entities used by agents, workflows, and downstream models.
• Design automated ontology creation from enterprise source schemas, including entities, relationships, and synonyms.
• Build and maintain the knowledge graph supporting product retrieval, agent reasoning, and Data Science models.
• Design agent personas, system prompts, guardrails, autonomy thresholds, escalation rules, and evaluation harnesses.
• Tune retrieval quality through chunking strategies, relevance testing, and search infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience making architectural decisions on data or AI platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ontology design, knowledge graphs, or semantic and canonical data modeling.
• Experience with LLM-based systems, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, and generative output evaluation.
• Strong Python fundamentals and experience with modern backend services and data models.
• Familiarity with agentic or workflow-orchestration patterns, including multi-step graphs and tool calling.
• Strong technical writing, code-review judgment, and ability to work with AI coding assistants.

• CPG, retail, or supply chain domain knowledge.
