QA Engineer (ServiceNow Tester)

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and system configurations.
• Document and track defects through resolution and prepare testing reports.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, clients, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
• Experience testing web applications and writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans.
• Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, defect management, and basic Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work with clients, business users, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the ServiceNow platform or ServiceNow projects.
• Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL concepts.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with test automation tools or ServiceNow ATF.
• ServiceNow CSA certification or willingness to pursue it.
