Reinsurance Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Short Hills, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work at the corporate office

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support reinsurance and reinsurance accounting teams in identifying, evaluating, and reporting on legacy treaty commutations.
• Reorganize, document, and map the internal shared drive structure.
• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate facts, analyses, and recommendations in written and verbal formats.
• Support ad-hoc projects and contribute to departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Current college student pursuing a degree in accounting required.
• Full-time undergraduate junior or senior preferred; Class of 2028 preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Ability to perform at a professional level and demonstrate urgency and commitment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
