Project Manager Analyst (Optical Communications)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada — onsite

Pay range: CAD 24–35 per hour

What you will do

• Lead critical release management projects by defining scope, goals, budgets, deliverables, and project structures.
• Develop coordinated project plans and schedules with the Program Management Office and engineering stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, communicate technical and program status, and lead recurring stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain project documentation in Confluence.
• Order and track program materials through Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Support hiring and onboarding for future co-op students and develop training resources.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, with an interest in project or program management.
• Returning to school in September 2028.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, define paths to resolution, and build collaborative relationships.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and effective as a team player.
• Must be eligible to complete a background check.

Nice to have

• Previous co-op experience.
• Extracurricular involvement.
• Working knowledge of Miro, Confluence, Jira, Oracle, Agile, or Tableau.
