What you will do
- Design, develop, test, review, and support software solutions.
- Develop applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, SOAP and REST web services, Vue, Git, Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, and DevOps tools.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and support to software engineers.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver projects.
- Manage tasks, prioritize assignments, and mitigate project risks.
- Participate in application support and an on-call roster if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
- Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to grow into a leadership role.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Relevant certifications or training.
