Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Brno, Czech Republic. Hybrid 50:50 arrangement between remote work and on-site work at the hirify.global Services premises. Applicants must already reside in Czechia.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable Microsoft Azure solutions aligned with business needs.
• Translate business requirements into efficient cloud architectures and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
• Optimize cloud performance, reliability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
• Apply security, compliance, governance, and documentation standards across cloud environments.
• Identify and resolve incidents proactively while reducing recurring issues and operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Bash, cloud networking, VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, firewalls, and DNS.
