Senior Manufacturing Scientist - Production

Location: On-site in Hebron, Kentucky, USA; approximately 10% travel required.

What you will do

• Lead technical projects involving product and site transfers, failure investigations, root cause analysis, design changes, and product enhancements.
• Support validation, process characterization, process improvement, optimization, and transfer of new products into commercial manufacturing.
• Apply structured scientific problem-solving, hypothesis testing, and data-driven decision-making to complex technical issues.
• Provide day-to-day scientific and technical support for manufacturing operations, including investigations of failures and process excursions.
• Design and execute experiments using Design of Experiments methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience; alternatively, a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or a PhD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting data, influencing decisions, and debating technical topics constructively.
• Ability to work on-site in Hebron, Kentucky, USA.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% as needed for projects.

Nice to have

• Industrial experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
• Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Experience optimizing biological or chemical products and processes.
