Process Development Associate (Biologics)

What you will do

• Contribute to projects focused on improving process yield, robustness, and scale-up to manufacturing sites.
• Perform bench-scale bioprocess experiments across upstream cell culture and downstream purification operations.
• Maintain mammalian cultures in shake flasks, culture bags, and benchtop bioreactors.
• Conduct protein chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF purification experiments.
• Program benchtop bioreactors, chromatography systems, and robotic liquid-handling systems.
• Design experiments, interpret data, present findings, prepare technical and GMP documentation, and support technology transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biomedical, or related engineering, life sciences, or another relevant scientific field.
• Alternatively, an associate degree with two years of scientific experience, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of scientific experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture and/or purification operations.
• Basic understanding of cell culture, protein chromatography, and filtration principles.
• Ability to identify and solve problems using scientific and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with design of experiments and statistical data analysis, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
