Service Technician (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Shah Alam, Selangor, with candidates based in Johor Bahru or Shah Alam and regional operations support as needed

What you will do

• Provide technical support, servicing, and maintenance for HVAC systems, data centre cooling solutions, and mission-critical equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, cooling towers, and related infrastructure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, commission, and optimize HVAC and data centre cooling systems.
• Lead technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality completion of assigned work.
• Coordinate schedules and technical issues with data centre customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain service documentation and reporting while following EHS and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in data centre operations or mission-critical cooling.
• Strong expertise in chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, HVAC controls, and cooling optimization.
• Experience managing data centre customers and expectations in a high-demand environment.
• Based in Johor Bahru or Shah Alam and able to support regional operations.
• Willingness to work long, extended, irregular, or after-hours shifts when required.
