Account and Finance Lead (NetSuite)

Location: Santa Ana, San José Province, Costa Rica

What you will do

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for the Costa Rica operation.
• Establish and improve monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statements, and corporate reporting.
• Partner with the U.S.-based finance organization on consolidation and reporting activities.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, compliance, and process governance.
• Mentor accounting team members and collaborate with local and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, including experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or senior accounting leader.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and financial consolidations is required.
• Experience in multinational organizations, Shared Services Centers, Global Business Services organizations, or Big Four firms.
• Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.

• Experience bridging local accounting operations with U.S. corporate reporting requirements.
• Experience building scalable processes and developing a high-performing finance function.
