What you will do

• Design, customize, build, and test hardware and control systems for composite manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate process equipment, technologies, and automation systems into the production line.
• Partner with mechanical, materials, and manufacturing engineering teams to define hardware requirements and solutions.
• Implement process control systems and procedures to improve production consistency and reliability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on equipment specifications and delivery.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and implement maintenance and calibration plans to reduce downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or industrial engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues involving multiple production resources.
• Understanding of machining, welding, forming, and composite manufacturing processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on testing and implementation.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM and programming languages including Python, C, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of aerospace manufacturing and production experience.
• PLC programming, industrial robotics, CNC machining, connected-factory concepts, and networking skills.
