Sr. Staff Physical AI Business Development Lead (Physical AI): Building Seagate’s business presence across China’s emerging Physical AI ecosystem, including robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, embodied AI, vision AI, and industrial edge, with an accent on ecosystem development, market creation, and strategic partnerships. Focus on identifying future data infrastructure demand, influencing reference architectures and deployment models, and translating China market insights into global business and product strategy.
Location: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, or Hangzhou preferred; exceptional candidates in other China locations considered. Travel: Up to 50% within China.

What you will do
- Build strategic relationships with customers, partners, OEMs, VIA players, developers, startups, research institutions, and technology providers across China’s Physical AI ecosystem.
- Map priority segments, target accounts, partner networks, and decision makers across Physical AI and edge markets.
- Identify emerging data creation, storage, retention, governance, and lifecycle requirements that may drive future infrastructure demand.
- Develop and execute engagement plans for China Physical AI opportunities and incubate scalable business and partnership models.
- Work with Cloud Architecture, the CTO Office, Product teams, and ecosystem partners to influence reference architectures, infrastructure stacks, and deployment models.
- Translate customer and partner insights into product, architecture, market intelligence, solution strategy, and global planning inputs.
Requirements
- Strong business development, ecosystem, or strategic partnership experience in AI, robotics, autonomous systems, industrial technology, edge computing, VIA, or related fields.
- Ability to build executive and technical relationships across customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to connect technical infrastructure trends with market creation, customer engagement, and business growth.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent Mandarin and English required.
- Willingness to travel within China required.
