Supply Chain and Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Filton, Bristol Area, UK; 80% of the working week must be office-based. Hybrid working is available, with frequent travel within the UK and Europe up to twice a month.

What you will do

• Manage supplier relationships and contract execution to ensure on-quality, on-time delivery of Landing Gear Work Packages.
• Monitor new product introductions, work transfers, and engineering changes to confirm industrial qualification before serial production.
• Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance from tendering through production.
• Manage supplier quality approvals and compliance with aerospace certification requirements.
• Identify industrial risks, define mitigation actions, and lead short-term recovery and long-term supplier development plans.
• Coordinate with internal multifunctional teams and drive supplier performance improvement projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain and quality management.
• Experience in aerospace or another complex, high-stakes industry such as automotive or rail.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Successful candidates must complete a BPSS check, including a criminal record check.
