What you will do

• Drive innovation and future technology initiatives within the Dry Gas Seals function.
• Identify market trends and customer needs to influence product development strategy.
• Engage with customer engineering teams through technical discussions and collaborative problem-solving.
• Develop mechanical concepts and designs using SolidWorks.
• Manage prototype development, component ordering, and test builds.
• Coordinate with procurement, testing, materials, and core technology teams to validate new concepts.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong mechanical design experience and proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience in R&D, product development, or innovation-focused engineering.
• Experience taking concepts through design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Evidence of initiating and leading new technology developments.
• Background in dry gas seals, turbomachinery, rotating equipment, compressors, bearings, filtration systems, gearboxes, or wind turbine mechanical systems.

Nice to have

• Chartered Engineer status or active progress toward CEng.
• Master's degree or PhD.
• Direct customer-facing engineering experience.
• Experience influencing product strategy through customer or market insights.
