Head of Documentation and Enablement

Location: Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands; onsite presence may be required for interviews at a hirify.global office

What you will do

• Define and execute the documentation and enablement strategy and roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of technical writers, instructional designers, and video editors.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate, consistent, and user-friendly documentation and enablement content.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and partners to align content with releases and stakeholder needs.
• Develop scalable enablement programs supporting deployment, implementation, adoption, and ongoing product use.
• Establish effectiveness metrics and improve content using analytics, feedback, product changes, and responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience leading documentation or enablement teams in a B2B enterprise software environment.
• Strong understanding of technical writing, instructional design, and multimedia content creation.
• Familiarity with modern documentation platforms, LMS systems, and video editing tools.
• Awareness of how AI and automation can support content development and learning experiences.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native-level fluency in English is required.
