Design Engineer (Transformers)

Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia; willingness to be based in Dammam is required

What you will do

• Perform external and main layout design activities for power transformers.
• Participate in design reviews, project kick-off meetings, and technical clarification meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to production teams and resolve design questions during manufacturing.
• Clarify customer inquiries about transformer design requirements and specifications.
• Support procurement with technical clarifications for local transformer component suppliers.
• Assist service teams with technical issues during transformer installation, operation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design and Automation, Power Systems and Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in transformer final assembly design and main layout design is preferred.
• Good English reading and writing skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Willingness to be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with control and protection system design.
• Arabic proficiency.
