Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Brussels, with 8 days per month onsite

A major organisation is running a long-term cloud transformation programme focused on Azure platform development and operational resilience.

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Support application and DevOps teams with cloud architecture and implementation.
• Define cloud architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Design resilient solutions covering high availability, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, and multi-region architecture.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, cloud governance, and security assessments with cross-functional architecture and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Azure or Cloud Architect.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, and cloud automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and governance.
• Experience designing highly available and resilient cloud environments, including disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, and multi-region solutions.
• Previous experience in banking, financial services, or investment management is essential.
