Enterprise Architect (iGaming)

Location: Liège, Belgium. Hybrid working model with remote work possible for up to 50% of working time.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the enterprise capability map and target architecture for an assigned transversal scope.
• Assess current and future landscapes, identify capability and technology gaps, and define architecture principles, guardrails, and decision criteria.
• Shape distributed architecture, including service boundaries, communication models, consistency boundaries, ownership, resilience, and failure propagation.
• Build and steer incremental transformation roadmaps with explicit outcomes, sequencing, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Lead cross-domain architecture decisions and collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, business, and technology partner stakeholders.
• Improve the architecture repository, methodology, reusable patterns, documentation, training, and automation; identify opportunities for AI in product engineering and architecture practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect in a complex, multi-domain organization.
• Strong business acumen and technical judgment, with the ability to translate strategy and product intent into architecture and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and integration architecture, including event-driven systems, synchronous and asynchronous communication, consistency models, resilience, idempotency, concurrency, data ownership, and contract evolution.
• Experience with capability mapping, target architecture, landscape analysis, transformation roadmapping, and Design Authority-style governance.
• Ability to make difficult cross-domain decisions through influence, credibility, transparency, and clear direction without formal authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across product, engineering, executive, architecture, security, compliance, and vendor groups.
