Gas Testing Technician

Location: Field-based in Hertfordshire, North London, and the East Anglia region, with regular travel across customer sites in the South East and East Anglia

Salary: From £30,000 per year, including a company van

What you will do

• Carry out onsite gas testing and analysis at customer locations.
• Collect, prepare, label, and dispatch gas and environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
• Operate testing and monitoring equipment during field activities.
• Review analytical results and produce accurate technical reports for customers.
• Build customer relationships and provide professional technical service.
• Travel across North London, the South East, East Anglia, and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.

Requirements

• Based in or able to travel across North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, or the wider East Anglia region.
• Background in testing, inspection, laboratory, environmental, engineering, industrial, or another technical environment.
• Education at A-Level, BTEC, NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Good communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence required. No degree is required; full training is provided.
