Staff Software Engineer (PHP)

Location: Copenhagen Office, onsite

Salary: 79,000–89,000 DKK per month

What you will do

• Own product development end to end for the Marketplace Team.
• Define architecture and technical direction for scalable production systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to shape solutions and oversee implementations.
• Lead architectural and software design sessions and communicate strategic trade-offs.
• Mentor engineers without direct people management and promote knowledge sharing.
• Improve engineering quality through reference implementations, code standards, testing, deployment, and observability.

Requirements

• Expertise in at least one part of the PHP and Angular technical stack.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and system design.
• Senior experience designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable production systems end to end.
• Experience with product development focused on quality and value delivery.
• Ability to lead deep architectural and software design discussions and mentor senior colleagues.
• Ability to work onsite in Copenhagen.
