Security Consultant (Supply Chain) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at office sites in Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh or Manchester, United Kingdom

Salary: £48,987–£59,000 per annum

What you will do

• Identify, understand and respond to cyber risks across the third-party ecosystem.
• Detect and analyse supply chain threats using data, tooling and threat intelligence.
• Support incident response and inform supplier and operational risk decisions.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable advice for business and technology stakeholders.
• Drive proactive, intelligence-led security controls and continuous improvement.
• Explore automation and AI applications for security detection, analysis and response.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of supply chain threats and emerging cyber risks in third-party environments.
• Deep expertise in threat detection, endpoint security, malware protection and information security controls.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide business-relevant recommendations.
• Experience applying operational risk principles and making proportionate decisions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate across cyber, resilience and supplier teams, and support high-priority incidents.
• Comfort working in agile environments and driving continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM or CISMP certification.
