Payroll Coordinator

What you will do

• Run day-to-day UK and international payroll processes, ensuring procedures are followed and payments are accurate.
• Set up new starters, update personal and contract details, and process termination forms.
• Process incoming timesheets and expense claims, maintaining accurate records.
• Perform payroll quality checks and prepare payslips, remittances, invoices, and payroll reports.
• Resolve payroll and invoice queries from contractors and coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Credit Control, and Billing teams.
• Record foreign taxpayer pay histories and PAYE liabilities, ensuring information is submitted by payment deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in finance, payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger, or credit control is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft packages.
• Confidence handling numbers and data with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
