Senior Analytics Engineer (Semantic Layer)

Location: Remote within Europe, Albania, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Asia, and Uzbekistan

What you will do

• Design scalable semantic modeling approaches and build canonical analytical models on modern data platforms.
• Define and govern business metrics and KPIs with Finance, Product, Ad Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business definitions into robust, tested technical implementations and reusable semantic models.
• Develop datasets and analytical solutions for BI tools, internal stakeholders, customer-facing reporting, and AI agents.
• Reconcile metrics across operational systems, reporting platforms, and financial data.
• Maintain automated tests, documentation, metadata, lineage, and standards for governed analytics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Expert-level SQL and Analytics Engineering skills, with strong Business Intelligence experience.
• Commercial experience with dbt or a similar modern data transformation framework.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional, canonical, and semantic modeling, data quality validation, testing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with production-grade BI solutions, analytical products, modern cloud data platforms, and scalable analytics architectures.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

• Finance and revenue reconciliation experience.
• Experience with multi-tenant analytics environments.
• Experience preparing structured data and metadata for AI/LLM consumption.
• Experience building customer-facing analytics and reporting solutions.
