What you will do

Design, develop, verify, and operate flight dynamics products for in-orbit servicing and debris removal missions.
Develop mission operations algorithms, operational concepts, flight rules, constraints, and related documentation.
Plan and support rendezvous, proximity operations, manoeuvres, ground station passes, mission timelines, and resource utilisation.
Execute verification and validation activities, simulations, rehearsals, anomaly simulations, and operational training.
Perform flight dynamics console operations in rotating shifts during routine and critical spacecraft operations.
Monitor orbit determination, manoeuvre, trajectory, attitude, and collision avoidance processes; investigate and resolve spacecraft anomalies.

Requirements

Degree in Astrodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
At least 5 years of relevant satellite industry experience, preferably across the full lifecycle of a low Earth orbit mission.
Excellent knowledge of orbital mechanics and flight dynamics systems.
Experience with mission analysis tools including GMAT, Orekit, STK, or FreeFlyer.
Experience with satellite navigation, orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, attitude planning, and trajectory planning.
Software development experience with Python and Java, plus containerised environments such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Nice to have

Knowledge of ECSS, CCSDS, and PUS standards for spacecraft operations.
Experience with formation flying or close-proximity satellite operations.
Unix/Linux, SQL or NoSQL databases, and MATLAB or similar simulation software.
Experience with version control, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Calm, disciplined problem-solving, root cause analysis, initiative, and effective teamwork.
