Intern System Software Development Engineer

Location: On-site in Kulim, Malaysia

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, development, and validation of system software across firmware, drivers, operating systems, and middleware.
• Support hirify.global platforms and technologies across multiple layers of the software stack.
• Contribute to cross-stack software optimization and reference platform development.
• Build practical engineering skills through hands-on projects supporting hirify.global business goals.
• Collaborate with software and platform development teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands-on programming experience with Angular, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, C#, and Kubernetes.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Kulim, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing systems.
