TL;DR
System Solution Design Engineer (FPGA): Building, integrating, validating, and deploying FPGA-based solutions for vision and AI, server security, industrial automation, communications, and automotive applications with an accent on full-system integration and hardware, software, and firmware validation. Focus on debugging across system components, tuning FPGA implementations with data science engineers, and solving performance, accuracy, and interoperability challenges.

What you will do
- Work with internal and external customers to understand solution requirements.
- Integrate and validate FPGA-based specifications and components for vision and AI, server security, industrial automation, communications, and automotive solutions.
- Partner with FPGA designers and software/firmware developers on full-solution integration.
- Collaborate with data science engineers to fine-tune FPGA implementations for accuracy, speed, and breadth.
- Define validation scope with design and validation teams, review test results, interpret data, and implement improvements.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in FPGA system integration and hardware and software/firmware validation.
- Strong full-stack debugging skills across hardware, software, and firmware.
- Working knowledge of SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, SLVS-EC, MIPI, USB, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet protocols.
- Experience with embedded development tools, logic analyzers, and I2C/SPI and USB analyzers.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills are required.
