E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation)

hirify.global operates in the energy and industrial sector, with this role supporting electrical and instrumentation systems at a Singapore facility.

What you will do

• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, variable speed drives, switchgear, process instruments, analyser systems, weighing systems, and tank gauging systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Work with electrical and instrumentation equipment, analyser sample systems, PLCs, and process control devices.
• Develop and review job safety risk analyses and maintenance procedures.
• Document field observations and maintenance activities.
• Perform call-out duties or 12-hour day shifts when required.

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher Nitec, or Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in refinery, petrochemical, chemical additive, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Hands-on experience with high-technology electrical and process instrumentation equipment.
• Good understanding of safe work practices, analytical ability, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be based in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits; relocation will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PLCs, instrument analysers, and analyser sampling systems such as Ametek, Rosemount, Mettler Toledo, or Siemens.
