Actuarial Intern (Finance)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; in-office collaboration at least four days per week and work from home one day per week

Salary: $31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work directly with actuaries on business-driven projects.
• Contribute to product development, actuarial valuation, finance, and risk management initiatives.
• Enhance existing processes using Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Build validation tools to verify the accuracy of actuarial models.
• Analyze results and trends related to regulatory or product changes.
• Complete and present a self-directed individual project to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Be a current junior at a four-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Have valid United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
