Manager, AI Ops SRE Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Thessaloniki, Greece. Periodic international and domestic travel required, less than 10%.

What you will do

• Set the technical direction and coordinate a small AI Operations pod in Greece, acting as the senior technical decision-maker and escalation point.
• Design and deliver the agentic ticket pipeline from incident classification and enrichment through investigation, root-cause drafting, and guarded remediation.
• Define capability contracts, agent runbooks, integration allow-lists, and read-versus-change permissions using a default-deny safety model.
• Establish standards for connectors and remediation playbooks across ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Aria, AIQUM, and Rubrik, with execution through SSM and Ansible.
• Set accuracy and reliability targets, validate agent outputs against the infrastructure estate, and determine when actions are safe to automate.
• Drive SRE and automation-first practices, continuous improvement, and measurable toil reduction across Hosting domains.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure operations, SRE, or platform engineering, including technical leadership or lead-engineer experience.
• Production experience delivering AI-agent or automation systems, including tool and connector integration through MCP or similar technologies.
• Strong programming and automation skills with Python and Bash or PowerShell, plus CI/CD, coding best practices, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Working knowledge of at least two Hosting domains, such as Server/OS, Storage, Data Protection, Database, Middleware, or HCI.
• Strong data literacy and structured evaluation skills for interpreting metrics and validating agent outputs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM, Now Assist, Dynatrace, and observability tooling.
