Occupational Health & Safety Intern (Energy)

Location: Henderson, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with in-person commuting to the designated location required

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support corporate safety programs, written program development and revision, risk assessments, exposure monitoring, and reporting.
• Conduct or support workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Document hazards and help track corrective actions.
• Assist with exposure measurements, employee and contractor exposure identification, and control measures such as PPE and engineering controls.
• Create safety presentations, posters, training guides, and support safety-related training.
• Support safety initiatives, internal processes, reporting applications, and AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Current freshman-level student or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university and pursuit of a relevant degree.
• Ability to commute to the designated work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer, up to 40 hours per week, and part-time during the school year, up to 20 hours per week.
• Approximately 1% travel is required.
