Project Engineering Intern (Energy)

Location: Denver, Colorado, with in-person commuting under a hybrid work policy and occasional day trips to power plants within Colorado

Salary: $23.10 per hour

What you will do

• Support the management of existing capital projects in Energy Supply.
• Provide input on project design and coordinate resources for construction activities.
• Develop project schedules, notifications, work orders, and purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Red-line drawings and update training materials for capital projects.
• Build relationships with plant personnel and promote safety during onsite project activities.
• Lead project update meetings with mentorship and supervision.

Requirements

• Current junior-level student or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrollment in an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to commute to the designated Denver work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer, up to 40 hours per week, and part-time during the school year, up to 20 hours per week.
