What you will do
- Integrate new i.MX devices into the Linux Board Support Package.
- Maintain existing i.MX products within the Linux software evolution strategy.
- Develop, design, and maintain Linux kernel drivers for i.MX platforms.
- Contribute upstream to the Linux kernel community.
- Work with an international, cross-functional engineering team on secure embedded products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of software development for embedded systems.
- Understanding of embedded firmware development.
- Understanding of Linux kernel development.
- Reliable and conscientious approach to security-related work and tasks within security certifications.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CPU and computer architecture.
- Understanding of Linux internals, including memory, scheduling, and device drivers.
- Experience with open-source communities or contributions to the Linux kernel.
