Software Engineer II (React/Python)

hirify.global develops technology for engineering and systems modeling applications, including the Adams MultiBody Dynamics product.

What you will do

• Implement Adams application back-end business logic, persistence, and new modeling objects and templates.
• Develop React-based UI extensions for the Adams application.
• Modernize the back end to use the capabilities of modern hardware.
• Expand automated test coverage and implement build and test pipeline logic.
• Collaborate with Adams product development teams and other hirify.global groups in an Agile development process.
• Debug features, improve usability, and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with React, JavaScript, and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with multi-layered software architecture, including frameworks, plug-ins, and public APIs.
• Experience using VSCode and Copilot.
• Strong familiarity with Agentic AI and applying AI for productivity improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with 0–5 years of experience.

Nice to have

• C++ and Qt coding experience.
• Familiarity with MVVM and MVC patterns.
• Experience with VTune, JIRA, CAD/CAE, or GPU coding.
