CMP-Implant Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Support CMP and implant manufacturing operations under the direction of an equipment or process engineer.
• Optimize mean time between failures, mean time to repair, equipment efficiency, capacity, cycle time, quality, and cost.
• Participate in fab-to-fab standardization, tool-to-tool matching, cost reduction, defect reduction, and throughput improvement projects.
• Develop and apply data analysis to establish and track department performance metrics.
• Own one high-business-impact project, including research, analysis, and presentation to fab leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong data analysis, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of statistical process control and its use in troubleshooting and improvement.
• Ability and motivation to learn new skills and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the summer 2027 internship.
