What you will do

• Translate business requirements into Finance user requirements and act as the Finance point of contact for front-to-end initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across squads, tribes, and programs while supporting backlog management and translating epics into features and user stories.
• Analyze process data, information needs, data quality, and the impact of requested changes.
• Design, test, and implement accounting solutions with engineers and IT, including functional, acceptance, and migration testing.
• Maintain accounting controls, product accounting specifications, ledger processes, documentation, and organizational structures during portfolio onboarding.
• Provide second-line functional support and perform daily checks of end-of-day accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and ledger processes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Management Accounting & Control, Business IT, Accountancy, Business Economics, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including knowledge of Wholesale Banking product accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of banking processes, complex Financial Markets products, product accounting, and accounting specifications.
• Experience with SQL, impact analyses, functional designs, test plans, test cases, and functional, acceptance, and migration testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent oral and written English, a proactive attitude, customer focus, and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Hedge Accounting concepts.
• Experience with FMGT Front Office and Back Office systems such as Murex, Summit, Sophis, or Calypso.
• Exceptional academic track record.
