Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T)

Location: Hybrid, with two days per week in the office; offices in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice. The job listing identifies Prague as being in Poland.

What you will do

• Manage and configure software-defined networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in company data centers.
• Configure NSX-T firewalls and contribute to network security and efficiency.
• Automate bulk SDN configuration through native APIs and maintain infrastructure automation scripts.
• Integrate SDN automation with firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Analyze and resolve complex operational issues across data-center and network infrastructure.
• Document network operations, mentor colleagues, support new technology implementations, and contribute to security standards and vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network layer architecture.
• Knowledge of data-center SDN networks and VMware technologies, including containerization.
• Programming or scripting experience related to infrastructure automation.
• Czech language proficiency is required; English at B2 level.
• Analytical, independent, reliable, and efficient problem-solving approach, including resilience under stress.
• Category B driver’s license.
