Digital & AI Governance Intern (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with attendance at the Amsterdam office required

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze global digital regulations, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, and the Digital Services Act.
• Assess the impact of regulatory developments on hirify.global companies and support digital regulation initiatives.
• Help develop and maintain intellectual property compliance programs with the Group IP Lead.
• Support competition law initiatives and related projects.
• Prepare presentations and deliver training sessions on digital and regulatory topics.
• Test AI tools and build or optimize AI-driven legal tools using the Toqan platform.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Intellectual Property or Competition Law in the Netherlands.
• Based in the Netherlands and able to work in the Amsterdam office.
• Strong interest in technology, AI, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Structured, organized, adaptable, and able to manage different tasks.
• Familiarity with intellectual property, data privacy, competition law, or global regulatory frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI or AI governance.
