Principal Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable production-grade software.
• Build and operate cloud-native services and SaaS platforms for customers at scale.
• Apply AI technologies, generative AI, large language models, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to engineering and business challenges.
• Define technical vision, architecture strategy, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, design and code reviews, and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor engineers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including large-scale distributed systems.
• 7+ years building, deploying, and operating SaaS applications in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with Java, Go, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript; Node.js experience is a plus.
• Experience with AI technologies, generative AI, LLMs, agentic frameworks, intelligent automation, or AI-powered application development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience, plus strong communication, presentation, technical influence, and mentoring skills.
