Revenue Cycle Supervisor (Medical Revenue Cycle)

Location: Remote; Clifton Park, New York

Salary: $62,000–$78,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Supervise daily prior authorization operations, including submission, follow-up, resolution, work queues, productivity, quality, denials, appeals, and compliance.
• Collect patient documentation and charts for claim submission and help resolve complex authorization issues with providers, practices, payers, and leadership.
• Audit workflows and monitor authorization turnaround times, approval rates, denial trends, productivity, quality, and treatment delays.
• Identify payer and workflow trends and implement corrective actions, process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.
• Develop training programs and coach team members through performance management, feedback, accountability, and professional development.
• Support interviewing, hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and enforcement of company policies.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Finance, Business, or an equivalent qualification, or four years of revenue cycle experience.
• At least four years of medical revenue cycle experience with a consistent record of achieving metrics.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, medical terminology, and managed care products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Two years of experience managing, delegating, and following up on work priorities is strongly desired.
• Fully remote work is performed from a home-based office.
