GMP Chemist (Biotech)

What you will do

• Provide analytical support to biotherapeutic process development teams.
• Analyze large molecules, including proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids.
• Perform plate-based assays, qPCR, HPLC, and other analytical laboratory techniques.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain electronic laboratory notebook and GMP documentation records.
• Use analytical chromatographic separations with HPLC or UPLC and spectroscopic methods such as UV-Vis.

Requirements

• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant GMP industrial experience.
• Experience with plate-based assays, qPCR, and HPLC is required.
• Knowledge of GMP documentation practices and electronic laboratory notebook systems.
• Familiarity with ELISA, UV-Vis spectroscopy, UPLC, or related laboratory techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with Empower or OpenLabs software.
