Quality Control Analyst I, Research Grade (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site at the Aldevron Advance campus in Fargo, North Dakota, United States. First shift, typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Review daily work instructions and organize individual laboratory workflows.
• Independently perform and document established quality control test methods in accordance with SOPs.
• Support research-grade manufacturing, technical operations, and research and development activities.
• Maintain inventories of reagents, buffers, and laboratory consumables.
• Use laboratory equipment including pipettes, centrifuges, shake flasks, fermenters, fume hoods, and precision measuring tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree required; a scientific field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory practices.
• Ability to operate precision measuring tools and laboratory equipment.
• Ability to work on-site in a research-grade laboratory environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands and arms for laboratory activities.
• Ability to work with solutions, chemicals, biological processes, and large equipment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of quality control testing methods.
• Previous laboratory experience.
