Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Specialist (Telecoms)

Location: London, Birmingham, or Bristol; office attendance required at least 3 days per week

hirify.global delivers telecommunications services and is developing the Emergency Services Network, a critical communications programme for emergency services.

What you will do

• Contribute to the ESN Security Management Plan, ISMS, security processes, and contractual security obligations.
• Identify cyber and physical threats and assess the effectiveness of mitigating controls.
• Deliver and verify end-to-end security services and required security accreditation for the ESN contract.
• Implement ISO 27001-compliant security strategies, policies, procedures, and threat response processes.
• Manage operational risks and monitor third-party supplier compliance with BT contractual requirements.
• Lead security awareness and engagement workstreams and provide assurance to customer security teams.

Requirements

• Experience carrying out security assurance activities, writing reports and recommendations, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ISO 27001 controls and audits.
• Experience administering security processes, awareness programmes, and engagement activities.
• Ability to undergo National Security Vetting to SC or NPPV level.
