Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build new data connectors to replicate information from CRMs and core business systems in near real-time.
• Strengthen and extend core CDC infrastructure to improve performance across all connectors.
• Optimize ingestion performance and troubleshoot reliability issues for secure data transfer.
• Set technical direction for connector architecture and lead design reviews.
• Partner with product teams and customers to translate business requirements into concrete data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in designing and owning large-scale production systems.
• Proven track record of owning complex projects from design through launch.
• Deep experience with high-performance, scalable software in distributed, cloud-scale environments.
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of relational databases.
• Real-world experience with CDC systems, including log-based replication, schema drift, and delivery guarantees.
